Memo
from the Prez
Many
of you know Im a great believer in "thought leader"
channels for building visibility and generating business. To me,
this means such avenues as publishing articles in trade and business
journals, doing speaking engagements, conducting original research
projects, attracting the media, writing and publishing a book (or
two or three).
What
you may NOT know is that theres hard data out there to support
this. Kennedy Information has reported that the uppermost percent
of consultant top income-earners is populated entirely by those
in our profession who regularly publish their ideas and deliver
them personally to target audiences, i.e., our thought leaders.
In
slow times, this is good info to have around. So we at IMCNE (well,
Jeff Govendo, our Program Tsar, actually) felt it made smart sense
to focus much of our 2002-2003 program season on such thought leader
channels. The questions were confronting are these: Does business
really HAVE to be slow? Must we be slaves to this unpredictable,
daunting economy? Weve chosen our program offerings so as
to deliver resounding NOs to both queries.
You
must come and join us as we explore, learn and acquire good, proven
solutions to these vexing questions
you simply MUST! Check
our online Calendar
for details about specific programs, and to register for any or
all of them. Together we can keep our practices moving onward.
