Description: In this session you will learn and practice
an elevator pitch that requires the listener to inquire more about
you to help you gain potential assignments and for making important
contacts to build your network.
- Elements
of successful presentation (the shorter, the more challenging)
- How
to build different elevator pitches based on this listener
- What
to do with the contacts you acquire
- How
to stand out among the crowd of consultants
Pre-Session
Assignment: Be prepared to give at least two versions
of your elevator pitch (think benefits, not features). What do you
do to help your clients sleep at night? Why should they follow up
with you? What has worked for you, what didn't and why?
To
become even more effective it is recommended, but not required,
that you also attend the November session on Effective Presentations.
If you attend both you may do so for $70 instead... a $10 savings
over the normal rate.
