Professor Charm has been a partner in the firm of Youngman and Charm since 1972, a firm that specializes in directorship functions for closely held firms that are operationally of experiencing financial challenges. From 1977 – 1990 he was chairman and President of a major distributor and specialty retail chain, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association from 1983 - 1988. He is currently the Director of the National Association of Corporate Directors-New England. A recipient of the Appel Award for Entrepreneurship, he has taught on subjects related to entrepreneurship to organizations and students throughout the world. Professor Charm has a BS from Babson College and an MBA from Harvard University.
